Have the seasons finally begun to change? It sure seems that way the last few days with this amazing Spring like weather upon us. We still have one third of winter to go, so I doubt it will last forever.

Its pretty much flat as a pancake this morning with beautifully clear sky’s and hardly a breath of wind. Crazy orange rays were shooting into a pale blue sky from behind Ben Buckler just before sunrise like some spectacular lightshow. They could never make them this good. It feels good to be alive on mornings like this and once you make the effort to get into the ocean it feels even better. The water is really quite warm for this time of year at a balmy 18 degrees. Hopefully it won’t drop any further. I’m loving surfing in a 2mm full suit still. Its makes paddling a breeze.

So don’t be lazy and make the most of whatever time you have today to get down to the ocean. Have a swim, SUP or a longboard. Low tide is at 3pm so there will be 6 inches of something on offer.

Have a great day!
