Hi Frothers !
After an incredible weekend in the sun, it’s time to go back to work (I know…it’s hard). All the boxed were ticked in the last couple of days. Winston was sending his goodness. +50 sunblock was a must. And the water is the warmest we’ve had it all Summer.
This morning was little more unpredictable. We started with a nice sunrise and some blue sky. But quickly, the storm clouds appeared. There were some fun Winston leftovers, especially at Tama and Bronte. It looked really playful !

Hi Frothers !
In 12 hours, we went from the perfect offshore 29 degrees sunset making everyone happy to a hazy 25 knots Southerly, making only the Frenchies happy. In 12 hours, we went from a 100% packed beach to an almost completely empty sand strip.
And in those last 12 hours, the decision was made that the Eddie was a Go. Watch it here ! It’s insane !
The Australian Center For Photography (ACP) is currently having a big event around the Beach and Lifestyle themes. They will be organizing the ”Beachin’ Talks” on March 12th at the Bondi Pavillon from 3 to 5pm. I have the honour to be a guest speaker, alongside other talented photographers like Ray Collins, Marco Bok, and more. Read more here. From Monday onwards I will be taking over the Instagram account of the ACP. Check it out on @ACP.PHOTO.
The other positive thing is that we’re also 12 hours closer to the weekend !

Hi Frothers !
O M G: What a day !
I decided to get some work done this morning and hit the water by midday when:
1/ I knew I’d need to get refreshed
2/ I knew that the heat would force everyone would head out for a swim
3/ when the harsh noon light would make the water look clear as
Well, I was pretty much on the money ! This is one of the best summer days so far I reckon, so close to the finish line !
So, duck out early and come for a paddle: It’s amazing !

Hi Frothers !
A great morning behind and a fantastic day ahead !
Maroubra was bathed in golden light, and the young rippers were making the most of the waves before the wind started to blow. Good light, hungry riders: a Photographer’s delight.
Now for those willing to help, we’ll be organizing some support for our friends from Fiji, some of whom work on Namotu & Tavarua Islands. They got hammered, lost their homes and a lot of property. They need support and we’re trying to get stuff over to them. It can be clothes, homeware, money…anything that can help someone whose house has been blown away. If you can help, please contact us at [email protected]. Cyclones are not just synonymous of great waves for, but they are highly destructive, especially for the islands. So before you go and soon enjoy Winston’s waves, see if you could chuck a couple of things their way. Thanks in advance !

Hi Frothers !
Hot hot hot ! Summer has clearly decided to stay with us this week.
The beach was maxed out this morning. So many people around, in the water or on the sand. It’ll be hot today (30ºC) but we’ll reach the 33 mark later this week ! Yew !
So, as you never know what next week could be made of, make the most of the next days and swim, surf, dive, kayak…or whatever you like to do: do it ! Carpe diem.
