Update 2nd November 2011

Quick! Get out there before the winds shift back round to the South. It's little windows like this one that you have to take advantage of as a surfer. 3 ft sets are on offer and the wind is currently very light, but at lunchtime it is forecast to swing and will spoil our fun.

This morning I was running around like a headless chicken. First the spectacular sunrise at Tama, then I tried to get a couple of surf shots at Bronte but that was average. I ran into the Botella Boys at Bronte starting the day off with a nice swim, then I hit Bondi with the long lens. Boy am I glad I did! Brett Anderson was busting out in the south corner. He must be on a high because he's off to Bali for a couple of weeks on Friday. Ando you're in form mate and enjoy Bali! We're lucky because he could have been a chance in this week's Bondi Single Fin.

Enough ramble – Have an awesome day. Bill Morris is back with you tomorrow so stay tuned for some cool shots from one of the best in the business!

Cheers – Brad

Update 1st November 2011

What's doing at 3 pm today? Yes of course it's the Melbourne Cup. The race that literally stops the nation. Down the tools and head to the nearest pub to back a winner and maybe have a cheeky schooner.

It's still solid out in the big pond with 4 footers washing through consistently from the SSE. Bronte is your best bet being sheltered from the south wind that blew all night, but by no means is it cranking. It's humpy bumpy out there!

Today's portrait is of Bluey Graham and the family dog Buddy. Bluey is a true local identity down at Bronte and is famous for many reasons but none more than his speech's during the Sunday afternoon drink at Bronte Surf Club during the summer.

Enjoy the day and giddy up – Brad
