This morning it was all about the 30 minutes or so before sunrise. I could tell it was going to be a stunner from the moment I cleared the sleep from my eyes at 5.50 am and headed out the door. Gradually the thin layer of clouds filled up with magnificent hues and turned the sky into one huge real life artwork. Then just as I was wrapping things up, a pod of dolphins joined the surfers in the line up topping off an amazing start to the day. Did you see the sunrise or dolphins? Tell us about it HERE
The swell has backed off from yesterdays bonus swell. We have 2 footers rolling through and your best bet would be Bondi where there were a few more options early. There are numerous sand banks from south end to middle that are all worth a paddle in the light wind but expect a few people to be out there making the most of it before the swell backs off.
