Don't be discouraged by the crowd in the water today: you'll get waves ! Actually, in Bronte and Tama, there were more waves unsurfed than being surfed. The size is down a bit and all the beaches cope quite well with the swell size and direction, despite a few odd sets.
Waves are coming in constantly, the frequency of the sets is high, the wind is super light, and there is a good 4ft. It's like a well-tuned wave machine ! What else can we ask for ?…
This week-end looks really promising, which means it's probably going to be packed at the line-up. You'd better drive North or South to get waves for you and your mates only. Otherwise, be prepared to feel like you're in a mall on a Saturday afternoon, trying to slalom your way through!
