The swell has back off a notch, and the wind has been messing things up a bit…but in Namotu, there is (almost) always an option !

And as the wind finally shifted from North to South West, there was an hour with nothing. Not a breath. In a matter of minutes, the water became glassy, oily. At this time, we had taken a fishing boat to take the surfed out guests to fish in deep sea. That's when the stars align: glassy water, soft light, and a pod of playful dolphins who played with us for 25 minutes.

After 3 hours of fishing, we came back with nothing. The Hueys are to be blamed.

But the dolphins saved the day.

Cheers

Franck

PS: I heard that we can now drive 4wd on the beach in Bondi ! That's cool ! 😉 (seriously, that's lucky that no one was injured).

Another day has passed in paradise, and the lefts have kept everyone busy for the whole day.

First, Cloudbreak, then Namotu Lefts, both benefiting from a bit of swell and favorable winds.

Another days spent in warm waters, accrueing more surf time in a day than you'd get in a month (or 2) back home. And that's especially true as Tavarua, the neighbour island is still closed for renovation. So, when the Namotu guests surf, they surf on their own !

Have a nice day. Some nice pics on the way for tomorrow too ! 😉

''Hello Earth ? Can you hear me properly ? Sorry the line is a bit bad: I am calling from Paradise…''

It's been a busy couple of days here though. But here ''busy'' means: ''when we're finished with Cloudbreak, let's rush to the island, grab a quick brekki and get another boat to surf Namotu Lefts, before lunch…And if the stars align, we could take the girls to Swimming Pools before we can make the sunset session at Wilkes''. So yeah…it's been pretty busy ! 😉

Have a nice day !
