Hi Frothers !
Well, I went down to Bondi this morning. And then Tama. Nothing exciting there. Weak waves, small, wobbly. The sunrise ? Well, pretty grey unfortunately…and we should get used to it: we’re in for a long run of poor/average weather.
Still, I took a few shots. But once I had a good look at them, I didn’t think they’re worth sharing. So I preferred to show you what I had put on the side from yesterday’s glorious morning, with sun, and clean waves.

Hi Frothers !
It’s Monday, and I am back in action after getting smashed by this terrible disease called the Man-Flu. Judging by the weather, I don’t think I have missed much from last week’s mornings…
However, I would have hated to miss this morning: what a nice day ! Sometimes it can be a struggle to get 5 or 10 nice (surfing) shots. And some mornings, you get home and the real challenge is to narrow the selection down to ”only” 15 shots. Today is one of those great mornings.
So, I have decided to share only a part of what I have shot today and keep the rest for the rainy days (Wednesday, Thursday or Friday…).
The air-show was on in a clean 2-2.5ft down at Bondi, whilst the few who decided to surf in Tama or K-Bay were occasionally getting a gem. Lots of fun Summer waves for everyone !
Like for almost anything, there is a 80/20 rule. Today was no exception: 80 of the waves were shredded by 20% of the surfers. I think that Perth, Pama, Joel and Sage were happy to be on the ”20” side of the fence.

Hi Frothers !
You love it. You’ve wished for it. You’ve longed for it. And today, it’s finally here: Summer !
With it, the backpacks, the small waves, the heat, the crowds, the party waves, the lack of empty parking spots, the rescues, the nano-bikinis, the 128 different languages on the beach,…in summary: happiness, Eastern Suburbs style !
The weather Gods are throwing a great day to celebrate the first of 91 days of Summer: 36 degrees. But the water will keep you cool (it’s actually quite cold today – it lost a few degrees overnight…).
