Hi Frothers !
I expected great surf this morning in Bondi, and I was a notch disappointed. Don’t get me wrong: it’s fun and there are heaps of waves to be had. Better than average in size and frequency for Bondi. But I decided to turn my back to the water for a change: it’s not every day that you have so many bowl rippers in town who have put their alarm clock on before 2pm !
The Bowl-a-Rama is kicking off tomorrow, and it’s going be BIG, as usual ! Plenty of legends in town. Worth a tickets if you’ve never been.

Hi Frothers !
Sorry for the late up-date but there were quite a few shots taken this morning. Difficult to pick the best ones: the surf in Bronte was pumpin’ ! 6-8 foot bombs, with its share of close-outs, as you would expect…
There should be plenty of waves around today and tomorrow. The size should be a tat smaller tomorrow morning, which should give you guys more options to choose from for your morning paddle.

Hi Frothers !
Not the best of the morning: people wearing jumpers, cold sand, Southerly in full swing, mushy surf. We’ve been so spoiled lately that this morning was in such contrast.
So I went to the ‘Bra to find a protected. It wasn’t enough. Even Maroubra was bad.
The clouds eventually cleared up but forget about surfing today. Grab your kitesurf and head down to Botany instead. Tomorrow (hopefully) we could get some decent surf.

Hi Frothers !
This morning was pure goodness. So many great things to report: the weathers, the waves, the water temperature, the absence of wind, the light in the spray of the waves, the vibe…
Difficult not to enjoy a morning like this. Unfortunately, the morning sessions are becoming shorter and shorter for those who have to clock-in early…
As soon as I put the camera in the bag, I had to go for a few waves in Bondi. So much fun. The banks were working, and there were some long and fun 3fters, less the early morning crowds. Paradise !
There should be plenty of this kind of goodness around this week, so put the following in your busy schedules for Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday: ”When: from 6 to 7:30am – Title: Have some fun – Location: Bondi/Tama/Bronte or Maroubra Beach”.

Hi Frothers !
There was a special atmosphere today at sunrise. From the clouds and the changing mood of the weather. But also from the pacific protest against the return home of the 37 baby refugees from Nauru happening in front of the Bondi Pavillon: #letthemstay. Read more here.
There are a few waves around, a lot of blue bottles but the sun is out now, shining strong !
