Hi Frothers,
Beau Pilgrim here checking in from Nemberala Beach Resort on the island of Rote, Indonesia. This has been a superb place to call home for the past 10 days. The waves have been fun, the sunsets all time, and the Bintang flowing.
This was my first trip to this part of Indonesia and I’m pleasantly surprised as a surf destination. I’m here shooting video from the air but managed to shoot a few snaps between flights.
It looks as though the waves have been fun at home and the warm weather is trying to fight off winter a bit longer. Let’s hope it continues.

Hi Frothers !
Where you there at sunrise this morning ? I hope you were. A symphony of colours in the sky, and sprays in the water.
Chris F. and Co. were shredding the fun little conditions that Tama had to offer. Clean. 3ft. Lefts. Rights. Buckets were flying in the air.
It’s still possible to surf in boardies, so try to make the most of this incredible Autumn.

Hi Frothers !
I hope you’ve enjoyed the long weekend and the Dawn service, wherever you were. Back to work now but for a short week…so all good. And for those who decided to prolong the weekend by a late start on this Tuesday morning made the right call, especially if the pick of wave was Tamarama.
Some really fun ones. Lefts. Rights. 2 to 4 ft. Clean. Offshore. Barrelling. Yummy !…
The water is still warm. Super clear. And the weather…well…I think ”perfect” would be the right word to describe it.

Hi Frothers !
The atmosphere down at Bondi was very peaceful and quiet, as Australia wakes up to the sad news of a great artist’s death. Not a cloud in the sky. The bluest blue. Not a riddle on the perfectly blue water. Hardly a wave. Nothing hectic about this morning, except for a few tricky team waves (Bondi…). Like a moment of reverence.
The wind will pick up and the weather should change this arvo, so I hope you have the opportunity to enjoy a morning out.
Swell’s on its way for the long weekend.

I love February. Such a great month of warm water, small but fun waves, & perfect warm weather. What ?! We’re end of April ?! Really ??!…Oh well. I love April then !
