The mornings and afternoons of late have been extreme. The cold has been bitter as this stiff SSW wind batters the coast. The swell has also been huge due the intense low spinning off the coast but the colours in the sky, especially at sunset, have been amazing and bordering on psychedelic. The horizon has been filled with pastel coloured rain clouds, producing the occasional giant rainbow stretching across the sky.
There will be no shortage of waves for the next few days but you may need to travel and find a point or sheltered corner again today, as its still quite solid, even though it has dropped a fair bit on yesterday.
