It's a hazy day, but beautiful at the same time.

31 degrees on the menu, some playful waves, but a thick layer of smokes.

The late up-date is due to the fact that I landed this morning early from my trip back Miami-L.A-Sydney. 28 hours of travels to land into this worrying fog. I was lucky enough to be sitting on the right side of the plane as we were cruising alongside the Eastern seaboard. And from Central Coast onwards, you could barely see the land. Approaching Sydney, it became worse, way worse. Only when we touched down, we could see the ground, and only then. A few seconds later, whilst still in the plane, this is the smell that gets you, and after 25 hours of AirCo, it is pretty heavy.

I had seen pics over the last days from the fires and the smoke, but this is the kind of thing that you only really believe when you see it with your own eyes.

I can't imagine what those families and the fireys are going through at the moment. Let's hope that the winds will not resume as hard as predicted…

I wish you a good afternoon. Off for a surf: the best medicine against jetlag !
