It was colourful, and then quickly pretty dull. I didn't regret the early swim, despite the cold sand and the chilly offshore winds. fun waves and fun skies.

My auto-focus played tricks on me this morning, and missed of couple of nice barrel shots from Joe Dirt. After 30min of swimming with the camera, I start to run out of spit to clear my glass. Anyway, the point is: if you're in the sweet spot, you could get barreled. Small ones, but to be added to your tube time.

We are doing some work in the background on the Frothers website and it means that next week there will be most likely be no Frothers up-dates. We will start again the week starting 18th August.

Have a great day !

Blue blue blue ! Winter is blue this year !

The water is definitely a little colder, and the mornings are chilly, but all you see in the sky is blue.

Mornings are getting a little longer already, that's noticeable, and with the 6:45am sunrise, the crowd is a touch larger than a month ago.

2 footers were on offer this morning. Clean, offshore and fun.

Now, to finish off, a piece of great news: the Frothers Family has just became bigger this morning, with the Malyon's N#2 ! Welcome to the World little buddy ! We're all stoked for you.

Have a great day !

Just landed fron the City of Angels, I needed to wash this long trip away and get a sip of the Tasman.

Wattsapp gives me a couple of ''Bondi looks fun'', ''Queenscliff was nice this morning''…so clearly, there must be something out there.

Chop chop ! Camera, housing, wettie, fins, let's go for a quick paddle with the camera !

Waves are around the 2 foot mark, sometimes 3. Fun, depsite the sneaky rip.

Gone surfing !

San Diego, you haven't disappointed me today. There were waves, small Summer surf conditions ok, but there was enough to surf. It was hot, humid (quite unusual though…), and the sunset was a delight.

The South Californian vibe is exactly how I imagined it, from the way it is pictured in movie or surf mags. It's laid back, fun, and sometimes weird, but in a good way. Good weird.

Anyway, I thought I'd give you a feel of what today was feeling like. Pretty cool to shoot a sunset over the Ocean again !

Have a great day, and a good start of the week.

Cheers,

With the wind backing off, this morning offered some fun !

Lefts, rights, middle bank, south bank, 1.5 foot, 3 foot, there was pleasure on offer for all kinds of gliding objects, and all skill levels.

Rather that walking around, wishing I was in a different spot, I decided this morning to stay put in one place, and one place only to shoot this report. So I picked my angle, and settled in my Eagle's nest for 45min. Not too unhappy with the result !

Have fun today !
