Bronte & Tamaram’high

Hi Frothers !

We can see some blue over the grey ! Yew !

What a run of bad weather. Incredible for this time of the year. This morning was still really wet but now the strong winds seem to be pushing this rain further North. Hopefully the situation will improve in the Newcastle area. Those guys had to cope with some serious flooding there…

We should be back in the water in the next couple of days, hopefully. At least, the weekend is looking promising.

Today, some shots of Bronte and Tama.

Have a great day !

Coogee & Clovell’high

Hi Frothers !

Well, I won’t say much about the weather, the surfing conditions or the activity down at the beach today again…

Monsoon season in Sydney ! It’s depressing I must say. It’s taking precious days out of the overall Summer days count.

It’ll be over soon(ish).

Till then, I’ll try to brighten your days with some sunny helicopter shots from last week, focusing today on Coogee and Clovelly.

Have a great day !

Maroubr’high

Hi Frothers !

My God…this rain is relentless !

25 knots. 19 degrees tops. Rain. Rain. Rain. July in January.

I have therefore decided to share some shots from Maroubra taken during the last swim of 2015. If you know someone who was swimming or surfing there that day, share this email !

I’ll keep the shots from Tama & Bronte for another (rainy) day.

Have a great day !

Bond’high

Hi Frothers !

Happy new year 2016 !

Where has this Xmas break gone already ?! It went like a flash. Especially when the weather brings goodness like last week for NYE and NYD. What a bliss !

The conditions were perfect indeed, and on 31st December I decided to hop on a big drone. One in which you can actually sit inside. Like a bee, I went around the beehive: from Maroubra, to Bondi, and then from South Head to the Harbour Bridge.

So today, I’ll share with you a few shots from Bondi. I’ll keep the rest for the rainy days. But I think I will be sharing the shots from the other beaches later this week, as it looks like the weather is not looking too promising (perfect weather to get back on the tools or on the chair though !).

We wish you a healthy year made of salty water, waves, joy, travels, personal achievements, and love.

H O L I D A Y S !

Hi Frothers !

This morning was sunny, and yet, the beach was E M P T Y until about 6am. Those of you who haven’t yet deserted the bubble for a trip up/down the coast or to the relatives have opted for a sleep in: ‘on ya !

At sunrise, Bondi looked like a small & sleepy beach town.  The surf is small, mushy, but unusually uncrowded. No drop-in mayhem like we would normally see when the waves are below 2 ft. A different vibe altogether. I actually liked it too. Quietness is good sometimes.

Well, that’s a wrap for 2015. We will stop spamming your inbox until early January.

It was a pleasure to shoot the Ocean for you in the last 12 months. It has been a transition year for us at Frothers, with a new Team, a new website, and a lot of travelling on my side allowing me to bring you something different to the salty waters we’re used to (but which has also made it extremely challenging to keep the daily up-dates regular). We want to thank you immensely for your support, your smiles, your kind words in/out of the water, your kind/silly/fun comments left on the different social media platforms. It’s great to see such enthusiasm within our local community but also the wider community of Ocean lovers, wherever they are in the world.

Have a great break. Enjoy the time with your loved ones, and let’s have a thought for those who cannot share it with the ones they love.

See you in the new year !
