It is pretty changing out there. An hour ago, a thick layer of clouds was hanging over our heads, and as I am writing these words, it totally cleared blue.
She’s moody and changing at the moment. She doesn’t really know what she wants, does she?
Waves are a bit of a non-event today. We’ll have to wait for the weekend, even though it looks like the winds want to be invited to the party. But the real deal is going to be long range. We should be in for a decent one. Keep your eyes on the forecast!

Hi Frothers,
It’s pretty grey and uninviting today outside, so it is a great opportunity for start the round of (re)introduction of the Frothers Team.
Dave Campbell is the Clovelly-raised local of the Team and has been on of the pillars of the Frothers Gallery, pretty much here since day 1.
Stormy landscapes/seascapes seem to be his favourite outdoors subject, whereever he travels…and he travels a lot for his Photography career ! In the next few months, we’ll be presenting you more of his amazing work from different parts of the World, but today, we wanted to give you a feel for what he does locally in the Eastern Suburbs.

Hi Frothers,
In Sydney, the air has been electric. Clear start of the day, clouds building up from 11am, and from mid-afternoon: Boom !
Here is a snapshot of last week’s unusual weather activities, that make us temporarily feel that we live in the Tropics.
The first shot of that series got a life of its own in the last few days. It’s been published, regramed, reposted, shared, re-regramed…so many times that I can’t count. Thanks for that Team ! In the process, some cheeky buggers who are not afraid of Karma claimed it as theirs, but I will take this as a compliment to look at the glass half full.
The surf was really fun this morning. The water is dirty from all the heavy rain showers, but the surface was flat, and the 2 footers on offer were worth the early alarm clock. And as the rain kept everyone in bed, Bondi was unusually quiet in and out of the water. Worth having a look later today, as the winds should stay favorable.

A NEW CHAPTER IS STARTING TODAY FOR THE FROTHERS GALLERY. AN EXCITING ONE !
In this chapter, we’ll be exploring the World together. We’ll be taking you away with us to the most remote corners of the Earth, and we’ll always come back to base. From Tahiti to the North Pole, from France to California, from Coffs Harbour to Spain, from Newcastle to Norway, and back to the Sydney Eastern Suburbs. Your eyes and mind will be Platinum Frequent Flyer pretty soon.
In the coming weeks, we will be introducing the Frothers Photographers to you. This new Team brings immense talent, dedication, diversity, and a global outreach. Wherever you are in the World, there should be one of us not too far from you, even if you’re in the Arctic or in the middle of the Pacific. As long as there is water and the Ocean, we are ’round the corner.

A scorcher is in the making. Some say 33. Some say 37. I say hot enough to run for a dip after work !
The air was wet and even a bit sticky at sunrise. Nonetheless, a great day to start your morning down the beach: fun waves, plenty happening on the sand and around. One of the shots has been taken at 5:59am. How many place in the World see that many people up and running (literally) that early ? Very few, and we're lucky to live in one of them, where we actually get a life before work.
I did not have the time to go for a swim with the camera today, and I was hanging around the South end. I don't think I'll ever get tired of the Icebergs. It really brings something so unique to the landscape: I love it.
The weekend is approaching fast now. I hope you get some time to think about your Xmas presents. If you're thinking about some amazing artworks, I'd say that I really like your thinking, and I'd say wait for another week: the Frothers website will have plenty to satisfy your arty appetite. More coming soon…
