We had a great run of swell last week which kept us all in the water. There was a good morning session at Bondi on Friday with the likes of Jono Arnold, Johannas Leek and Phil Guers tearing up a little inside left rip bowl. While over the hill Nick Sheffield caught some action on Thursday arvo at Tama where Ian Wallace, Ben Heweston and Dave Norman were all having a good dig.
Surf Photo of the year award winner Jeremy Wilmotte got all arty with the flash and housing and Bill Morris caught all the action at the Oakley Big Wave Awards in which Mark Mathews took it out yet again. That is two years running for MM and we wish him all the best for the year ahead. I'm sure he'll be in the mix again next year.

Big swell all week from the South so make the most of it. Winds are moderate SE but Thursday is looking the goods where winds will shift back to the NE. Plan that day off or sick note now!
