I knew that I shouldn't have said yesterday that we were moving into the Spring wave doldrums because after checking the beach early this morning, I'm beginning to feel that I've jinxed myself. It was horribly flat, onshore and overcast. The water's edge was also smothered in blue bottles, which just rubbed it in a little harder. It can't always be beautiful but no matter what, we will still be out there shooting trying our best to bring you what we can from the morning – that will hopefully make your day a little brighter.

Father's day is almost upon us so don't forget Dad, after all he did have some kind of input into you being here. A Frothers gift certificate could be the perfect way to go. You know what they say; "a picture speaks a thousand words" and we have so many classic pictures that would surely bring a smile to yours Dad's dial this Sunday. If you're not too far away from Bronte you could always call into the gallery at 145 Macpherson Street and take an on-site look at what we have.

There should be a slight increase in wave height tomorrow but winds look a little iffy. I will be back again in the morning with more pics and a weekend outlook for you. Stay tuned.

Cheers
