I just back from sunny Orange to rainy Bondi. Apparently, I missed the good part on Saturday and Sunday. Well, there will be sun this week, but I don't think we should expect too much for today or tomorrow. This morning, I was surprised by the lack of action in the water, or on land. Only one surfer on the Bondi – Tama -Bronte strip. The weather has seemed to have convinced everyone to press that snooze button on the alarm clock a few more times, or have a cuppa…inside. Fair enough.
Now, the surf is average. It's rainy and grey, ok. It's windy, I'll give you that. The nights are looong, maybe. But, hey…it's Tuesday already, and most of us are getting to work for the first time this week ! That gives us 3 sleeps only before the week-end! A short week – how good is that ?! I reckon that should be the way to go – 4 days of work (paid like 5 of course!) and 3 days off (Warning: don't try this at home! The French tried it – it's been a disaster…)
The other good news is that the forecast looks good for the second half of the week. E swell with NW winds, a nice combo that will give plenty of different options for the weekend.
When is the next short week again ?…
