It's great to be back! Even better after witnessing the sunrise from the Bondi Icebergs while the usual gang of swimmers were slugging it out in the pool. Although 3 weeks in Turkey was fun and a nice change to life in the bubble of the eastern beaches – there is absolutely no place like home. I love taking pictures as you all know and there is nothing like shooting Bondi after a few weeks away.
Today you will find 2 ft waves rolling through from the south. Winds were NW early and is expected to turn to the NE, which means conditions at Bondi will be ok most of the day. It is a little fat and full with the 10.39am high tide right now. Mid afternoon would be a better time to get out there before the grommets hit it after school.
No real waves to speak of for the next week. Only some NE windswell on the radar for Thursday and Friday.
