Hi Frothers !
It’s incredible what 24 hours can do.
We went from ”don’t even think about it” to ”oh my god, it’s like Winter surf conditions in Summer” overnight.
First, we got a cracking sunrise. Then, I made my way to Tama/Bronte and from the eagle’s nest, I could witness the high tide craziness of full waves turning into barreling sections, the massive backwash and the suicidal late take-offs. Cool show !
The chilly offshore winds and the solid waves breaking loudly on the cliffs were sending us right to a perfect Winter day.
There should be plenty of waves today and tomorrow (dropping off in size a notch though). Pick your spot !
