Hi Frothers !
God, the beach was busy this morning !
Last night’s epic surfing conditions probably got everyone excited about waking up early for a surf before work. Problem is that the size dropped right off, and the high tide at sunrise didn’t help…Bottom line: too many people on too few & too small waves.
I just went for a paddle, after most have let the boardies to dry on the balcony or in the back of the car, and conditions had already improved a lot. There were some fun ones out there, and I guess there will be a few people late at work this morning !
If you were up early, you might have struggled to see the horizon line, as 3 massive cruise ships were sitting just outside of the bay. If, like me, you wonder what was going on, then see here (thanks Amaury !).
It’s busy, but it’s fun to be down there in the morning. Just choose your foamie over your schmick board…
Have fun today !

Hi Frothers !
After some days of flat or mushy waves, the fun conditions are back.
Yes, I know: why didn’t that happen over the weekend ? I wish I had the answer…
But you know what: the days are longer, which should help everyone to have a decent share of this freshly arrived swell. It’s 3-5 foot in Bondi (with the usual close-out with the odd larger set wave), and this afternoon, Bronte, Tama & Maroubra could potentially turn on as well. The only unpredictable factor this week is going to be the wind, especially the afternoon Southerly.
So, this week, if you want to catch some, the morning surf will most likely be the safest bet.
Have a great day.

Hi Frothers !
After missing yesterday’s sunrise & waves due to a pressing deadline, I couldn’t wait for this morning.
First impression was not great I have to say. The sunrise was a tad disappointing, but then the sky opened and madness took over the beach: no one was in bed anymore from 6am. Everyone needed a fix of sand & salty water.
41 degrees on the dial for today. Drink lots, put sunblock, but more importantly: ENJOY THE DAY !

Hi Frothers !
Three Two ! Yes: 32 degrees…
It’s a cracker outside, and it’s going to be hot as. Nothing like the 40ºC+ forecasted for Friday (start making arrangements…), but amazing enough to duck out early today.
Waves are knee high. Nothing too exciting there, but the water is inviting for everything else. I know: It’s going to be difficult to work this week…but that’s alright, there always a next week.
Have a great day !
